Film Screening:
Punk-Zeitgeschichte-Film
Never-before-seen private recordings of former Foreign Minister Mike Spike Froidl of the APPD’s shadow cabinet, in an amusing and historically instructive film.
The new film by the Berlin-based artist is called “Punk Contemporary History Film”. The film from 2023 portrays more than 25 years of punk history in an amusingly chaotic manner, with highlights such as “When we beat Schlingensief at Lake Wolfgang!” – Chance 2000 (Christoph Schlingensief’s party) meets the punks’ ox tour at Chancellor Kohl’s bathing lake and shows the APPD’s pogo-anarchist ox tour of 1998 through 41 cities in 3 weeks.
Mike Spike Froidl is an artist, flexhead and gentleman and is also called Don Chaos because in 1992 he rode through Spain in knight’s armor as “Don Chaos de la Nada” as a modern Don Quixote on high horse.
He is also associated with the days of chaos in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1998, he was nominated as Foreign Minister for the Anarchist Pogo Party in the shadow cabinet for the federal election – which received over 35,000 votes.
